Capture Pilot won't sync to server

I am on a macbook pro running 10.10.5 and capture pilot on an iphone 7 plus. I haven't upgraded to c1 10 on the laptop bc it means updating the os and I haven't had a chance to do that yet.

However, capture pilot has stopped syncing to the laptop. It sees the server and I can click on it. But then it just sits and spins.

Is this because it wants to attach to C1 10?

I have kept up to date with the pilot software, but it stopped after c1 10 came out.

  Answered my own question. I upgraded the os to 10.12 and upgraded to c1 10. Capture pilot now connects.
  
  So, if you are still running c1 9, don't update capture pilot on your iOS device!
