Issue with exporting images cropped in Photoshop in C1
My workflow is to process the raw file in C1 (V 8.01) as tiffs, then open in PS (latest version) to make final adjustments, spotting, etc and sometimes an extra crop.
I then, in C1, export variants of these final images.
Now where an image has had a crop made in PS (any other adjustments make no difference) it is (sometimes) showing up in C1 with a black border (the crop) showing and (always) will not export at all...an error message comes up on the event log.
The only way for it to work in C1 is to go back to the image in PS and re-save it with a new name...it then shows up and exports as a variant fine, even if it has been cropped, etc.
A very odd one. Has anyone else come across this?
Thanks,
Marc

In PhotoShop, when you do the crop, are you selecting to delete the area, or not. It might be the CO does not handle a TIFF file that is cropped but the pixels are still there. I have never seen an issue where I export a TIFF, do editing in PS, even cropping and then re-importing (I hate that I have to do that.), and the image is not correct. (I flatten everything).
P.S. Not sure I worded it quite correctly, I am not by my computer at the moment to double check PS's wording for crops.

Hi Robert,
No PS crop is set to delete cropped pixels.
Thanks for your ideas.
