Blur/Bokeh
WIBNI:
It would be nice if we have bokeh/blur function in C1.
Where can I address this kind of WIBNI?
I occasionally use blur function in Photoshop CS6. I wanted use this function in C1 but
could not find it except reverse side of Structure/Clarity bar, which is far less blur
amount than I want.
While CS6's blur has some annoying behavior, I want C1 covers this.

want more blur? stop your lens down.. 0 -
Bokeh is out of focus blur and indeed depends on the aperture value and the distance between the camera, the subject and the background. There's nothing much you can do about it in post production. 0 -
You can build several layers of blur.
Bokeh is bokeh and the result of the lens design and function.
If you want to paint in bokeh and add a lot of extra blur you probably need to think seriously about using graphics manipulation programs rather than RAW image converters and editors.
So Photoshop or similar products would be what you need - or maybe some plugins for that type of program.
HTH.

What I want is: a portion within the picture to be blured, in order not to attract attention to there, and
put strangth to the subject that I am expressing. So, wide aperture sometime do not resolve the situation.

Appreciate your suggestion. I actually use CS6 blur functions (there are several), but it has a serious
problem in gradation zone.
Thanks everyone anyway. Will go back to CS6 and handle that problem somehow (if I can).
