send to Capture One LE doesn't function

Since C1LE has problems recognizing my standard sundisk card reader & P1 has no answer for this, I import my RAW photos with Adobe which doesn't have this problem. I have, on occassion, tried to select a photo in Adobe & \"send to\" Capture One for processing. I get the busy signal, i.e. computer working icon, C1LE opens but the file does not appear/open in C1LE. It seems to get lost somewhere.

Any suggestions? TIA
