While in Keystone tool

I sometimes can't get the tool Icon to change from a hand to the keystone icon. I can reboot and it works. But after the icon fix I was trying to do a Option + Undo arrow in the keystone panel and it rest it completely and removed its star rating as well. Anybody heard of this??? Is there a Plist file that I need to delete? Using 8.3.2.6

  Resetting the preferences.
  
  Note that deleting the preferences has changed since Mavericks. You need to invoke a two commands in Terminal (one at a time). You can copy and paste it. Close CO8 before you do this.
  
  defaults delete com.phaseone.captureone8
defaults delete com.phaseone.captureone8.LSSharedFileList
  
  Try again and set your preferences again if you had done this before.
  
  You could also create a new session or catalog (for testing) to check for erratic behavior. Also verify your session/catalog.
  
  Outside Capture One, perform a repair permissions with Disk Utility.
