    Instead of reinstalling the program, you could clean up your setup by deleting any support files. I think in particular of the preference files, and the ~/Library/Application Support/Capture One folder. Note that the user's Library folder is hidden by default in Lion but it is easy accessible: Finder, Go menu and press the Alt/Option key to have it displayed in the menu.
