Capture one Export different than Edit With Export
Others have commented on this. I am finding a similar issue and chose to create a new topic. Exporting to a tiff then editing is different than clicking on "edit with ...... The TIFF created is different. Exporting for editing in either TIFF, or PSD format does not appear to honor the edit settings or some of layers that you have created. I am missing the sharpness, and color changes I made in C1 when I Edit with ......"". I have tried editing with Adobe, I have tried editing with Affinity photo. It doesn't matter. The TIFF or PSD is not as good as if you Use the Export(process) engine to do the job. So to get the best quality, I need to: Export to a TIFF, then move the tiff over to the selects folder, and then Open with an editor of choice. I have tried all sorts of color spaces, I have tried All types of Sharpening for print, No sharpening, etc. The File created using the "Edit With function" is not as good as with the Process Engine to final output.

If your Export and Edit settings are identical, the processed files will also be identical.
Without seeing screenshots of both your Edit and Export settings, it's impossible to troubleshoot your issue.
Which color settings aren't showing up for you?
Although, doing a little testing, i just noticed that you need to set the Edit Sharpening to No Output Sharpening if you want your layered sharpening to be applied. That seems really strange to me... anyone know why the workflow is this way?0 -

If I am using "Edit With" I always turn off Output Sharpening as I am continuing to edit. Seemed natural to me?

I wish I could share the photos, but they are private for my customer. After rebooting my computer and opening up c1, yes, I would now concur that a tiff file created for "edit with" is the same as an "export" when the output settings are the same. Not sure what happened before. But I still seem to see a rendering difference between the tiffs and whatever native rendering that c1 produces in its main window from my Nikon NEF file. So therefore, thinking out loud with more sane people around me, could it be that my Nikon NEF file is rendered better than a tiff file that C1 creates? The NEF file appears slighly sharper with the yellows more saturated than that provided by the tiff or psd formats. Like I said, I did try several color spaces on the exports and they just didn't look as good AS THE MAIN DISPLAYED NEF. 0 -
