C1 20 will not find my earlier C1 12 catalogs

When I downloaded C1 20, it asked if I wanted to convert my 2019 catalog to the C1 20 format. I said yes, and I am able to access my 2019 catalog with C1 20. However, it did not changed my earlier catalogs 2016, 2017, etc. so now, while I am able to work on 2019 with C1 20, I am unable to access my earlier catalogs from C1 20.

  What about File>Open and navigate to the catalog file?

  Thank you.
  Went to File > Open and got to my 2018 catalog (so far so good). At the point, I received two choices, "Cancel" or "Open". "cancel" was active, however "open" was grayed out.

  Problem solved. Operator error.
  (File > Open > Capture One 2016) upgrade that processing engine, then repeat the process (File > Open > Capture One 2017) etc.
