Output processing engine is stuck

My output processing engine is hung up and I cannot find a way to cancel it. The error log states: The image Say of Beauty 2018 - 201.CR2 is inside the catalog. You can change the root output folder in the "File" tab of the "Process Recipe Tool". However I have the problem regardless of the root output. In addition if I try to start a new output, I receive a message that requires me to return to the hung up output before anything else can happen. I have no problem "exporting" the same images using the export command. How do I get the output processing engine to stop.

  Try going to the Batch tool tab, stop the output recipe if it's running, then click on '...' of the Batch tool and select "Clear Queue"
  
  That should remove your stuck output image

  That seems to have fixed the problem. Thank you. I wonder what caused it.
