batch change capture date/time
Hello,
I am searching quite a while through the internet, documentaion and applicatoin and can't find a function to correct wrong timestamps in Capture One 8 pro.
Unfortunately the camera was set to the wrong year and so I had to change the capture timestamp in the EXIF information for >2000 photos.
Before I was using Aperture, which has a feature called "Adjust Date and Time" which changes dates for all selected photos.
What I found out is, that nearly every photo-tool has such a feature and I now used the free software XnView-MP to add 1 year to every photo.
Now I had to tell Capture One to reload all metadata from the original files and it tells me this takes more than an hour on my SSD! And I also fear that it may overwrite any changes or ratings that I have set in Capture One.
Could you please add a feature to batch change the capture timestamp? Or tell me where I can find it if it exist?
I think this wouldn't be hard to do but is very important.
Kind regards,
Alex

Yep, it cleared all my ratings now ☹️
That's very annoying...0 -
And the next problem: is there a way to sync metadata from a catalog-db-backup?
I could copy the whole catalog-db but I have photos in my catalog, that aren't in the backup, so I'd like to just sync the metadata with the backup-catalog.0 -
In reply to your first post.
I have a similar problem. After issuing the request to the techies they replied that they work on a solution on this to be introduced in an upcoming update.0
