Catalogue Problems
Come across a bit of a problem this afternoon. I've been doing some housekeeping with the catalogue, moving images to their parent directories - so that I have one directory per month.
2016-01
..Sub1(moved to parent)
..Sub2 (moved to parent)
The parent directory appears to populate OK, but I'm getting problems with some of the Sub directories renaming themselves to the parent name, but this isn't happening all the time:
2016-01
..2016-01
..Sub2
When I delete the last sub directory, the parent disappears, even if the Sub retains its original name.
I've tried a verify and repair on the database, the parent is still missing. I then have to re-import the images into the catalogue, but then all the adjustments and metadata are missing.
This is making me nervous about trusting CO1 with my cataloguing, and I may have to look elsewhere for DAM functionality.
Is Media Pro any more stable?

Not clear how much P1 is doing to maintain Media Pro. hasn't been updated in some time.
It appears they are trying to migrate its functionality into C1, but they still have a ways to go.
Did you move the files within C1?
Was it version9?
I have occasionally moved files between folders in C1, but have always created the folder first within C1 and then moved with a drag and drop. No strange renaming problems. I am using OS X 10.11
You might check with tech support to clarify if there is something you could have done to protect yourself.
I am sorry to see Media One apparently adding as to me there is a rationale for keeping DAM catalog separate from RAW processing catalog or session.0
