Browser thumbnails missing

I just upgraded to CO 12.0.1. from version 11.
I now notice that some thumbnails in the browser window are missing. I can select those images and the image will show up as expected.

I'm not sure this problem started when I upgraded or if the problem was present before.

Is there a way to rebuild the thumbnails?

  Now I restarted Capture One and the thumbnails are there. Never mind.

  I updated to 12.0.1 then to 12.0.2
  I switched the Browser Sort from Name to Extension. The sort took place but the images all disappeared. I selected all images in the browser then executed Regen Previews. I got a progress bar in the Windows Taskbar icon (no where else) but when it was complete, no images had yet appeared in the Browser. I gave it a good 20 minutes to do something but nothing happened. I killed Capture One then restarted it and all images came back. I have not tried repeating this.
  
  I have now repeated these actions and several other scenarios and the Browser images have remained - the system seems to be working perfectly now in this regard.
