Sorting files

How do you sort files into groups. I have star rated the files but can't sort them into groups.

  Sorting thumbnail to rating for example can be done from a drop down list in the title bar of the browser. It is best to place browser below (not beside) to see the drop down list. For a reason unknown to man a sort option is not available in the menu of CO4/Win as it is in CO4/Mac.
  
  FYI: beside sorting on rating, you can select on rating.
