cant tether with 5DII on 6.4.3 - 64 bit

I have new laptop and installed capture one 6.4.3 - 64 bit, but when I set up tethered session on it and plug the camera in an events box comes opens saying capture error and if I click on this the message is -

Description: Exception: NSInvalidSendPortException. [NSMachPort sendBeforeDate:] destination port invalid
Domain: com.phaseone.captureone

In activities it cant attach the camera.

On another laptop, which has 6.4.2 - 32 bit, the same camera and lead work fine.

I have a shoot in 3 hours, if you could help before then it would be much appreciated!

  did you de activate nikon tethering in preferences? Does the laptop have 10.8.1?

  Does the system have 10.5.x?
  
  From the release notes;
  "*Please note that Canon tethered support is not supported in the Apple 10.5.X Operating System."
  
  As you are not using the Canon 5D Mark III or the Nikon D800, perhaps it is best if you just installed and ran Capture One 6.4.2.
