Are the images you import still RAW files (with .CR2 extension) or are they in-camera processed JPEG files (with .JPG extension?).

Note that raw files do not have a color space.

The difference in file naming (with an _ underscore for AdobeRGB98 setting in camera) is an EXIF specification which helps people to distinguish JPEG files that have been created in the camera with a the larger then sRGB color space.

Thank you Paul. I am trying to import .CR2 files.

Are you suggesting that Canon's sRGB color space is larger than the regular sRGB color space?

    Thanks again, Gordon

Paul, never mind about sRGB question. I get it now! Thanks for RAW file clarification!

    Best regards, Gordon
