How to export only adjustment from Catalog ?
I have a RAW file on external HDD.
I have one catalog with referenced images. I do some adjustments.
I have second catalog with the same referenced images without adjustments.
How could I copy only adjustment to second catalog ? When I export originals with adjustments and try import it to second catalog I got duplicate and have images with and without adjustment. It`s very annoying. When I do export a oryginals a RAW files are copied, it`s waste a time, space on hdd etc. :/ I have RAW out of catalog as referenced images so I only want export and import adjustment. It`s possible to do ?

I am afraid it is not possible. 0 -
Well, I can't be sure that this will work successfully in all cases and don't have the time right now to test it but as far as I can tell on my system I can copy the settings (may not work for local adjustments) from an image in one session and apply it to an image in another session or a catalogue. Or create a variant and apply the settings to that, session or catalogue.
I don't have 2 catalogues to experiment with but I can also copy settings from a catalogue to a session image or variant and apply them so I would assume that catalogue to catalogue is also possible.
Might it also be possible to save the settings from one catalogue as a User Style and then Import that to other catalogues? (There does not seem to be a lot of benefit to that in the example of a single image if the copy and paste option will work.)
Am I being too optimistic with what seems to work?
This is version 7.1.1 by the way. Windows 7 Pro.

The only way I have found to do this is to export "originals" then copy the C1 folder from that export to the folder containing the original Raw files then delete the redundant copies. However what I have been doing is export "originals" to my backup disk then I delete my original raw directory. (However recently I have resigned to using LR ) I hope this wasn't too confusing. 0 -
I think that Catalog feature isn`t in final stage 😉 It`s still early beta 😉 I think that programmers don`t have idea how Catalog should work 😉 😉
Why ?
1) C1 Catalog A - referenced images to file catalog c:/test
2) C1 Catalog B - referenced images to file catalog c:/test
3) I modify images in Catalog A.
4) Export originals to file catalog c:/export
5) Import images as referenced images from c:/exports to Catalog B
😊
Ok I have in Catalog B reference to c:/test i c:/export - the same images but c:/export with adjustment 😊
6) In Capture One I drag and drop images from c:/export to c:/test (move in Library Tool between folders)
I got a warning that have file with the same name 😊
7a) I click Abort - nothing happened - ok
7b) I click Rename - the RAW is copied with the new name (duplicate RAW with new name) on HDD, in Catalog I have a referenced image with adjustment to new name RAW... - ok, but waste a space on HDD 😜
7c) I click Replace - the RAW isn`t duplicated, I have only one file but in Catalog I have 2 referenced images to one RAW file 😉 😉 One with adjustment, one without - it`s stupid ;P I think - If i click a replace button, the RAW and the referenced images will be replaced by the new one, not only RAW.
Ok...
😎 Now, I could remove reference images without adjustment 😉 But be carefull - if you click Delete not Remove references, you delete a RAW file from HDD 😜 😜 Nice 😉
Loooong method, annoying, stupid, waste a time - but working 😉 Catalog - feature without idea how should it work.0
