Run an AppleScript script after completing export
Hi,
I'm looking to export my processed pictures into the Photos App. I've tried the other method listed in the other thread (open with Photos in the export options), but it's not a fantastic option for me. Basically, that then imports the photos into Photos one at a time, rather than as a batch. Which means that the Photos App's "last import" smart folder is mildly useless since it'd only show the very last photo imported.
Basically, is there a way for Capture One to say "I've completed this export job, now perform this action", at which point I'll get it to open an automator script that imports the whole folder contents into Photos app in bulk.
Thanks

Hi,
there is the option "open with" (might not be the exact wording as I'm using a german version). Another user posted that he just sets this to photos and after the export the photos app will open and import the pictures. Presumably you could point this to an automator script as well.
Cheers

That option still results in all of the photos being executed against that Automator script one at a time, leading to the same scenario where there is only one photo being imported at a time. Furthermore, when attempting to import approximately 10 photos into Photos (I was testing that scenario where the Open With is done against the Automator script) there were times when Photos actually gave an error saying that there was already am import occurring, leading to that specific photo not being imported.
Which is why I'm wondering if there is a way to only run something after the *entire* export process is completed.0 -
