can I tether my IDsII to my PC C1 pro
I attempted to tether my 1DsII to my pc with C1 3.6 loaded and had no luck. The computer sees the camera as indicated in the reconnect camera pulldown and the camera is seeing the computer as indicated on the back of the camera with the ~ . I fire a hot and the image goes to the CF card with nothing going to the computer. I tried my 1D and it works properly and tried on another PC aswell. I reloaded C1 3.6 on my main computer that I use with my 1Ds and 1D and also reloaded the canon drivers. Still I've not been able to capture to the computer. I shot all day in the studio usinc canon capture and it worked perfectly. Am I missing something or id the MKII not supported through firewire yet? Any suggestions are appreciated!

Are you going to do something about that, or are you getting the Mac version, which I presume support almost all cameras tethered, into shape and as good as the PC version? I would happily switch from PC to Mac, but I was literally shocked to see how differently it handles.
Now I shoot via EOS capture or what it is called, and having downloader pro moving and renaming the files, and Manually pasting the WB & Exposure corrections onto the files. It is faster than using CF cards, but not very elegant.

Mac version only supports Phase One camera backs, there is possibility to enable support for Canon 1D and 1Ds but due to the instability of the Canon components we do not have \"official support\" for it.
When no official statement around this has be released, let me emphasize that I said \"Currently\" 😉0
