Please help me, Capture Pilot not connecting to server!!

Hi group, have a big shoot tomorrow, and my capture pilot on iphone 5c will not connect to the adhoc or wifi server.

1. I am creating an adhoc network as usual, then I go to the iphone select the wifi adhoc network, I click the blue circle to adv. setting where I wait for the ip address to show up once it does, I then launch capture pilot where it shows the adhoc but when I try to connect it spins and says can't connect to server... I am trying on both laptops and it's driving me crazy...
