With "All Images" selected under "Catalog Collections", all the keywords should appear in the Filters tool.

There's some info here that might help:

    http://help.phaseone.com/en/CO8/Organiz ... aspx#item3

(I found this by selecting the help icon on the Keywords tool).

    Hi,

I'm new to C1, and as far as I can see the complete list of keywords in the Filters Tool that you get after klicking on All Images in the Catalog is not the "master list" (like in Aperture). It will vanish as soon as you klick on any other selection.

There seem to be two kinds of keywords:
    - the ones you enter in the Keyword Tool while organizing your images (they'll stay on the list in the Filters Tool, regardless of the album you are just viewing
    - and the ones you "inherit" from imported images (e. g. from Aperture). These will have to be re-entered in the Keyword section of the Filters Tool, otherwise they will only pop up when you select an image that is "wearing" them

    Best regards
    Thomas

I'd love to be able to import my 500+ Keywords in a text doc to Capture 8.
    Is that even possible?

    Hi,

I thought I'd resurrect this thread as I have a couple of related questions regarding a master keyword list.

    1) I wish to have a master keyword list too as I have a hierarchical list. I added some keywords under the Filter section. As the documentation says, keywords entered this way are permanent. They cannot be changed or deleted. However, when I assign photos to these keywords, it creates a duplicate keyword. For example, in the Filter tool I created a Landscape > Sunset keyword, I then dragged a few photos over to it. It then created a duplicate keyword so that there are two Landscape > Sunset keywords, one with photos assigned, the other with nothing assigned. Is this normal behaviour?

    2) If I create a keyword under the filter tool, it is indeed permanent and cannot be changed. However, I created a new catalog and I was surprised to see that these keywords are still there. Where are these keywords kept and how can I start fresh with no keywords at all?

    Thank you
