Erase Images after Copying

On the import images screen, the "Erase Images After Copying" option is greyed out, even after selecting images to import. I was hoping the new version would resolve this - but no. Any thoughts?

  From my limited knowledge I´d guess it has something to do with permissions in Windows. If C1 is not allowed to change the directory from which the files are imported it can´t erase them.
  
  Personally I never use that option. Whenever possible I do not erase images from my memory cards until I have all of them on my computer and have made backups.
