Moving Files to new Computer

If I have all my various Image files under a "Main" Folder called "Photos" and the Catalog Name is "EMD"... and I need to move that main folder to a new HD/location... how do I get EM2 Catalog "EMD" to reconginize the new location and ignor the old location? (We would like to keep the old location as a bkup.)

  Hello Marv,
  You could use these steps:
  
  1.) Copy the directory with you photo's/images to the new location with i.e. SyncBack (it performs a validation)
  2.) Open EM2 en open the Organize Panel
  3.) Under 'Catalog Folders' right-click the main direcory (folder) en choose the option 'Reset Folder Path..'
  4.) Now navigate to the new directory
