Saving and re-using Guides

Is there a way to save Guides from one session to another? I've tried to do so by making a session template, but that hasn't worked. Has anyone found a method?

The issue started since an upgrade to CaptureOne Pro 12.1.1 (still happening on 12.1.4). I'm upset to see that CaptureOne Studio has a saved Guides feature, but not the one I've purchased, re-purchased and upgraded for years. Currently we are re-creating the same guide lines into every new session, prior to the 12.1.1 update, the guides would carry over from one session to the next.

  Guides are per-document, and cannot be migrated from one document to another outside of Capture One Studio.
