C1 Pro and OSX (10.4.11)

Hello,
I've just installed C1 Pro (3.7.7) on two separate machines (Quad G5 and the new MacBookPro) both running 10.4.11 and for some reason I cannot access application's preferences. When I try to do it from the menu or the icon, nothing happens. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

  Is the issue on both machine?
  
  Did you try to repair the disk permissions?

  Not a common problem. Try deleting the preference file from this directory: Mac HD>Library>Preferences>Systemconfiguration>preferenes.plist
  
  Also check display resolution setting in case that is causing the issue.
