exports with "ignore crop" checked creates unusable files
This has been happening just recently, after upgrading to 9. Cropped images export fine. Uncropped ("ignore crop" checked) occasionally, seemingly randomly export as 0x0 unviewable jpegs. This happens to all or some of the images in the session. Some images export uncroped perfectly. Cropped images always export fine. Changing anything in the process recipe, aside from the ignore crop setting, does not seem to help. Uninstalling and re-installing capture One along with deleting related files from library does not seem to fix the problem either. Only workaround we've found is to uncrop manually and export without ignoring crop.
Thanks for any input!

Oh well, I also had from time to time the problem that some jpgs were not readable after export. But I never found out what the reason was. Maybe it's correlated though the file size was not 0x0 but couldn't open the jpgs neither with preview nor photoshop et.al. 0 -
I am having the same issue! I've tried everything as well and can't seem to figure out why this is happening. It's causing MAJOR issues on shoots, and I really need it fixed. Any tips would be appreciated! 0 -

http://support.phaseone.com will take you directly to technical support.
And for the time being, try switching off OpenCL.

Good addition, Hans - I forget that it's not easy to track that link down if you're not used to the (awful!) Phase One site.0 -

Websites are like online adventure games.
Some things are easy to find,
some are not where you expect them,
and a few are well-hidden.

Perhaps the Announcements and FAQs forum could have a post called How to submit a support case with that link.

Good idea, Ian - it's a sub-forum that seems pretty pointless as it is, so it'd be nice to see it used properly.
But then again, I mentioned years ago that it'd also be the area I'd expect to see mention of new releases - and we can all see how well that suggestion landed!

https://www.phaseone.com/en/Search/Arti ... cleid=1276
In C1 (Recent versions) open the Help menu.
Click "Capture One Support" (Currently the second item on the options list I see.)
That will open a browser window for the Main support page on the Phase web site.
Click "Contact Technical Support"
or, in the FAQ box,
"Create Support Case"
or maybe an entry in the "Hot Articles" section as things change over time.
If you don't have access to a running C1 installation try a browser search with the phrase
"phase one technical support"
Google presented me with 2 ads (one for Phase One, one for something else) and then listed two Phase Support URLs of interest that would be reached using the steps described above.
Much easier than using the Main web site although even that is not so difficult once one is familiar with it. However, web sites change frequently so the direct links provided via the application should be a better option much of the time.
HTH.

Case created. We figured out that the unreadable jpgs were only images with keystoning adjustments. Remove the keystone and they process uncropped fine, however the image has now been altered...Our workaround to keep the keystone and process out cropped and uncropped images has been:
Process out cropped images. (these have never had any issues regardless of keystone)
Reset crop on all images.
Process out the now uncropped images (no need to check the ignore crop box)
Command+z to restore crops0 -
Thanks for making that case, if you or anyone else continues to see corrupt output files similar to this "Ignore Crop" + Keystone adjustment issue please create a case () and attach your log files. Within Capture One, hit Scripts > File Packager. Attaching an EIP of the file you're trying to process would help as well. 0
