Canon S100 Raw red line in the bottom
Hi,
when i see a Raw coming from a Canon S100, i see in the bottom of the photo a red line.
The Raw file is 4000 x 3000 pixels and the red line in the bottom is 33 pixels high.
This append by each picture coming from Canon S100.
Why?
greetings

It must mean that CO7 has undocumented feature that adds a Canon L stripe to Canon's P&S cameras. 😂
I see it on my S95 raw (CR2) files as well, so you are not alone.0 -
Same on Canon G12. Reported it already to Phase One. 0 -
v7.0.1 fixes this for my S95 CR2 files. 0 -
Ver 7.01 fixed this bug or my g12 and g1 x. 0 -
Same for me with CR2 from S100
Thank you CO0 -
Interesting - and from a technological point of view I'd love to know what the issue behind this is. The reason for saying so is that while C1 isn't supporting Pentax K-01 DNG files I have had to resort to using Corel Aftershot Pro - which does, but not perfectly. One of the bugs it has in handling those files is a 38pixel line (sometimes output as black and others as red/pink) along the top of the photo when in landscape mode. Seems as though there is something there in the underlying file to cause this that RAW processors need to take account of.
Adobe Camera Raw (with PS Elements 11) doesn't have this problem.
