Is anybody using the Radeon HD 5770 Card with C1 7? Has it been tested, I have a MacPro with an older card and would like to upgrade it so that I can turn Open CL back on without crashing.

The 5xxx series is very old, and some of them aren't fast enough for CO. Go for something newer.

I do use the "big brother" Radeon HD 5870 (which is as old as the 5770 AFAIK) in an early 2009 MacPro Nehalem (8 x 2.26GHz, 24GB RAM). C1 7.1.3 runs absolutely trouble-free on my machine with Open CL enabled. Images redraw in realtime when you adjust any setting... this is what Open CL is about.

    Same here with MacPro 2 x 2,8 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon and 18 Gb RAM 800 MHz DDR2 FB-DIMM
