Upgrade to642 on WinXp dont work?

☹️ Can enybody tell me what is wrong????
Have updated my CO4Pro software to the new 4.6.2 and the first thing that hapened
was a "bluescreen" at first program start...?!
After computer restart the program refuses to start!
Another atemt to upgrade again... same result.. the program wont start.
Reinstalled the 461 and all is back to normal again....???!
Something is definitly wrong with this upgrade!!
-Has anybody out there made a succesful uppgrade to 462 on Windows??
Have not tryed yet to completly reinstall before the uppgrade,
maby thats the problem.. I dont know (?) but most upgrades you just install on top
of the old one.
Help Me please!
I am running a QuadCore 64bit XP Pro system

  Hmm, crashing huh? Wait a sec, I have a dual Pentium with XP Pro x64 SP2 and CO4.6 Pro staring at me in the corner of the room. Let's uninstall 4.6 first, than install 4.6.2...
  Start CO up as Administrator. FIne. Logoff, logon as User. Runs fine again. Must be the weather. Or something else.
  
  BTW, also runs fine on XP Pro x86 SP3.
  
  Tip: try without firewall

  Hi Paul!
  I´ll tryed your sugestions but the program still refuses to start...?!
  If I run "ProcessExploer" I can see the CaptureOne.exe file start to activate but after a couple of seconds i´t shuts down..!.
  No "blue screen of death" this time tough, ..puh...!
  
  Reinstalled the 461 version again, just works fine.
  
  Something is wrong here !
  
  Have a XP Pro x86 in my studio with 461, will try the upgrade on that machine later to day and report my findings!

  The upgrade to 4.6.2 has worked fine for me on two different XP machines running SP3. One is a dual core Intel, the other a dual core Athlon. In both cases I just installed it over an existing copy of 4.6.1.

  Hi everybody and thanks for your inputs on the subjekt!
  I have now tryed to install the 462 on another computer and it worked out just fine, but that whas a x86 machine, and my atemt to install it on th XP Pro x64 machine fails.
  Ther has to be something with the x64 arcitecture !
  The funny thing thogh is that the 461 version works flawless.
  
  Happy for any ideas that can solv the problem.
  Have started a case file whith PaseOne support but they have come up with nothing yet..!

  Hi folks Per is back again and smiling 😄 462 is working!!!
  But it took some time and effort! ( its now 1.45 at night in Sweden)
  Total deletion of all files and folders connected with CO4,
  and total registry clean of any CaptureOne or PhaseOne enteries!
  Hope this will help another x64 owner with problems..?!
