How to remove all extra ICC profiles?

WHat are you doing that means you have to scroll through them so much?

Normally C1 will identify the body on opening the image.

Selecting an alternative ICC profile would be an unusual requirement in most normal cases.

If you have "Select All" ticked you will see a list of possible categories - usually by manufacturer.

Beyond that I can't think where the Camera ICC profile would generally be used.

    Fuji X-T2
Currently only has a Generic profile, yet great Fuji film simulations exist as alternative ICC profiles produced by other Fuji users.

So... yes, there are people that DO need (or choose) to scroll through the list to select other profiles that accurately match the fantastic Fuji in-camera film simulations only availalable as JPEG. Provia, Acros, etc.

How does that relate to C1 and profiles for other camera brands?

If you have added the ICC profiles as imported profile Profiles then I guess you will need to delete the ones you don't want to see.

If you did import profiles to where have they need saved?

If you did not import any profiles I am not sure what you are discovering when you find the profiles..

I'm interested in this as well. I'm kind of built that having to scroll through lists of unused items would quickly want me to find a way to remove the extras and simplify the clutter.

Do the profiles created duplicate or come close to the JPG' engine renditions built into the Fuji's? I find that I can't seem to get close enough by eye, not by a long shot, when trying to get the exact same look as ProNeg High or Astia - my two favorites, depending on subject matter? If so, where can I find these?

But I thought that profiles were somewhat a different idea, rather than just the "film like looks". Need to do more research into this topic, I guess. I've not yet taken the time to understand things like "perceptual" versus other intents.

Does anyone have a quick guide on that area - or is it too complex for a short explanation?

FYI, I was able to accomplish exactly what I want on the Mac version. Simply Show Package Contents and track down what you don't want. (sure I'll have to redo each time app updates).
Here's what the Mac list now looks like, which is what I'd love the PC to also look like.

Using the same process on PC you can track down and remove, but the list retains all the other camera brands and tons of blank space. (can't provide a PC image right now) Something in PC version is either hard coded or coming from somewhere that I cannot find inside the app.

Fantastic! Thanks very much. Where did you get those Fuji profiles, and how do they compare to the JPG engine?

    Pavel,

Those profiles were created by Scottie Wang and Michael Fleck together and can be obtained from here:
