I don't have dual screens, so I can't comment on that.

As to auto-hiding the toolbar, I didn't even know that was possible! Where it that option? I'll see if I can save the mode to my workspace.

Your desired setup is easily achieved!
    Open your Session/Catalog.
Menu: Window > Workspace > Dual Monitor - Large Browser. It may seem that nothing happened, but drag the big black screen over with your mouse to reveal another big black screen under it.
Put the screens on the monitor of choice.
With the focus on say the Viewer screen (i.e. click your mouse on the Viewer), again go to the Menu: View > Show Tools or just click Command T. Repeat on the second monitor.
    Hope this helps.

Thanks Bill, your suggestion "more or less" works. I say "more or less" because the Viewer does not maximise irrespective of whether it is on the primary or secondary display. The browser maximises fine. In a nutshell I have to resize the Viewer to make it cover the whole of the secondary display (the largest display). I suppose it is not a big deal.

Bob - Show Tools (Option - T) and Show Toolbar both on the View menu should stop the Tools and the Toolbar from auto-hiding.

Apparently the former, Show Tools, does not get saved when saving a workspace but the later does get saved.
