P1.ModelCore.dll
Win 8.1
C1 ver 8.1.1-d2c9
I installed this version of C1 around February 24th. I run the software a couple of times with no problems at all. Today every time I try to run it I get the following error message after the splash screen:
Could not load file or assembly "C1.Model.Core.dll" or one of its dependencies. The specified module could not be found.
One or more files that are required for the application to run are missing. Please reinstall the application
I've unistalled and installed C1 more than once and always got the same message, also browsed to the installation folder C:/Program Files/Phase One/Capture One 8 and checked that the mentioned .dll file is there.
I even tried installing the previous version with the same outcome.
Help is much appreciated!!

Eduardo,
If you have tried the re-installation (and a system re-boot as well as a C1 restart?) I would suggest creating a Support Case and getting the Support team to check what the log file(s) can tell them.
It sound odd. Probably easy to fix if you can just find out what you need to do.

Thanks for answering so quickly!
Yes, I've restarted and reinstalled and the problem is still there, so I'll follow your advice and open a support ticket.
Have a nice day,

What version did you re-install?
This warning usually appears if there's a version mismatch. Always install the latest version of CO.0 -
I would like to suggest to always uninstall your previous version of CO8 before installing the newer version. 0 -
I uninstalled everything. Problem is still the same. 0 -
OK. Problem was with msvcp120.dll.
I copied it from another computer.0
