    Hi,

I've just read about the alt-space shortcut, to make the loupe show up without changing your current cursor tool (http://blog.phaseone.com/confessions-so ... developer/).

Very convenient, but I'd like to change the shortcut to something easier to remember for me (such as alt-q, since the letter "q" looks like a magnifying glass).

Alas, it seems that this specific shortcut cannot be changed via the "Edit shortcuts" menu item.

Do you know if it's at all possible?

Did you create a new custom shortcuts list?
It should tell you to create and name a new one and it will create a copy of the default list and than you can start editing it.

Remembering by memory, my trial ended already so I could be off on something.

As I said, it seems that this specific shortcut cannot be changed via the "Edit shortcuts" menu item. Apparently no cursor tool shortcut can be changed. ☹️

I just tried to change it via a system-wide shortcut app called Butler but it doesn't work either.

I guess I'll have to send a feature request.

Indeed, the shortcuts for the "cursor tools" cannot be changed. Also, none of the floating tools can be opened/closed with shortcut keys, and that would be really handy.

But, the cursor tool keys are quite logical and you'll pick them up quite fast.

Another nice shortcut is the Space-double click to zoom in/out, regardless of the current tool (Space activates the hand tool). Another is to click the caption of a slider to reset the slider for as long as you press it. It's like Option-clicking on the revert icon, but for that slider only.

Would love to know more of these handy shortcuts!

    Cheers,
    Peter.

I guess the best place to find about them is the Image Professor's Blog : http://blog.phaseone.com/
