If you're using the Local Copy and Apply tool then be sure that the Primary image selected is the image that contains the adjustments.
For example, make adjustments to Image A, then hold down CMND and select images B,C and D. Then click the local Copy/Apply. You will see that Image A has a large white selection around it, this is your Primary image. The Adjustments will be taken from the Primary and applied to the other images.
Since the Local Copy/Apply does not have a 'Clipboard' space, it uses the adjustments as they exist on the primary to apply to the other images.

That is the process that I use to copy settings from a primary variant. I'm just saying it's a little strange that when I use the local copy/apply button in any other tool it only does the settings for that specific tool, but when I do a local copy/apply in the metadata tool it does everything that is checked in the "adjustments clipboard," no matter if it's metadata or image adjustments. Shouldn't a local copy/apply in the metadata tool just do the metadata and nothing more? If I wanted to do settings beyond metadata I wouldn't use the local copy/apply button.

cooper, your description is clear and sounds erratic as you stated. I can not reproduce the issue (Lion 10.7.3 / CO Pro 6.3.4) nor can I provide a possible solution. In a trial-and-error approach you could either reset your CO setup like in an full uninstall-install cycle as well as test with a new session, fresh images without settings files and proxies.

    Or open a support case.

I have the same Issue: I'm trying to copy metadata from the active selected image to other selected images via the double-ended arrow in the metadata panel (with shift-key pressed in order to suppress the popup-dialog).
C1 copies adjustments from all panels instead of metadata only.

    C1 Pro 6.3.4
Macbook Pro 15" 2.5 GHz Intel Core i7 (late 2011) with 8 GB RAM
AMD Radeon HD 6770M 1024 MB
    Mac OS X Lion 10.7.3 (11D50)

I just found that it happens also in other panels: I tried to copy LCC settings in the Lens Correction panel and it copied the white balance along with it.

ariel, have you tried any of the suggestion I did in this thread?

    Dear Paul,
I just did a full reinstall of C1, deleting preferences- and all other library-files and opened a new session.
    The problem remains there.

In the meantime I found out that C1 only copies settings from other panels if I have the "Autoselect Adjusted" - option deactivated in the adjustment clipboard panel. In that case I can't copy the values of only one specific panel (for example white balance). C1 applies all values which are currently activated in the global adjustment clipboard.

    Best regards
