For clarity (that is: for my understanding) I break down your post into a few successive questions.

    1. is CO7 able to rename files on import in the format "ttYYYYMMDD_<sequence number 5 digits>.ext"?
    A. Yes, this is possible with the renaming tokens during import or after import (batch rename)

    2. is CO7 able to create and use a sub folder structure YYYY/YYYY-MM/YYYY-MM-DD and place the imported images in the correct folder based on the EXIF?
    A. No. CO7 does not have the ability to create folders on import based on EXIF metadata; you have to manually create it and select the proper folder or use an other tool specific for that.

    Thanks!

I had the naming figured out, that was easy. Just couldn't find a way to do the folder structure and now I know why. Is this something reserved for MediaPro to handle?

Wow, I haven't used that program since before Microsoft changed it to Expressions. It was iView Multimedia then I think.
