teathered speed question

Shooting tethered with a canon 1ds 2.

I'm looking for speed comparison between 2 laptops.
Macbook Pro Core Duo 2 Ghz
Macbook Pro Core 2 Duo 2.2 Ghz
Both with 2GB Ram

What kind of speed difference would I see from time of shutter release to preview coming up on screen.

Any help would be great.

  My first reaction is that if you have both computers available, you tell us. Or is it more hypothetical?
  
  My take: Transfer speed through the cable is the same, and processing is slightly faster with the second. Add that together and I think you can't tell the difference.
