nikon color modes vs Capture One
Hi,
I was wondering whether C1 applies nikon's camera color modes (neutral, standard vivid etc) to imported NEFs, and how to switch between them in C1.
My understanding is that:
- C1 does not apply the camera profile
- C1 applies a "Generic" camera profile (for example Nikon D700 generic) which is equivalent to the "Neutral" color mode (on the camera) and then a curve (film standard etc)
- the user can create their own profiles (with the color editor) to be applied to photos.
If my understanding is correct, are color profiles equivalent to nikon color modes already available?

I think you will get a better luck asking on some Nikon forums if somebody created profiles for C1 mimicking proprietary ones from Nikon.0
