Pixelated "Media" Tab
I'm getting a pixelated "media" view on random images. I click through different images, and sometimes they are pixelated, sometimes not (meaning i can return to the same media and it looks fine). I think I noticed a change after OSX update? Not sure. It ALWAYS happens in any catalog. I also noticed that when this happens "Preview" appears up in the info area.

Hmmmm. Perhaps an access issue when the Apple OS is trying to generate a thumbnail preview and the software is trying to do the same?
Since you're on Snow Leopard you have Quicktime X installed on the machine. This new software lets you do a Screen Recording which is extremely helpful in diagnosing an issue, the video does all the talking. Do a screen Recording and then upload it to support case, we'll take it from there.0 -
Drew,
It seems to have stopped. I will see if it pops up again.
Thanks,

Hi,
I have the same issue with my JPGs.
First everything was fine for a few days. Suddenly I get only blurred pics.
To solve the problem, I played with the EM2 settings. The 'Tumbnail and Preview' setting followed by a rebuild changed the picture.
When I mark the tick 'Create full screenshots' the quality is better, if I remove it, the media view is just blurred.
This leads to my assumption, that EM2 uses for whatever reason the generated tumbnails in the media tab and not the original file.
Any idea how to solve this?
I really valued EM2 as a quick way to sort out the blurred pictures from my shots, until this issue started.
My configuration:
EM2 SP2 v 2.0.2096.0
Win XP SP3
Intel Celeron 1.86, 1.5 GB ram
Thanks,

Drew,
Still getting pixellating.
I recorded a screen video so you can see what is happening. Where/how do I upload it?
I tried creating a case under tech support , but it is asking for Capture One info, this is for Iview...

Create a Support Case and choose "Expression Media".0
