cursor functions?

In Photoshop, the active cursor function can be modified using the shift and ctrl keys. I do not see this facility in Capture One.

Have I missed reading about this?

    Maybe I did not describe this properly. With Photoshop by holding down ctrl or shift key my mouse actvates a different function. With C1 I can only select different functions clicking on it. Using the ctrl or shift keys at the same time does nothing.
