Sorry, I can't answer your question except to say that I have the same frustration in reverse. I always work in full screen mode, but when I quite C1, it is aggravating because it launches with the window taking up the whole screen, but not in full screen mode, proper.

I'd like to know how to achieve what you have happening.

Just a thought, are you sure it is full "full screen" mode - where it launches away from the workspace and has none of the toolbars visible until you select "browser manual mode" and "tools manual mode" every single frustrating time? Why can't whatever the last state the program was in, when closed, be the sticky state when launched, as is the case in almost every other Mac piece of software? Four versions and still the same poorly thought out behavior on my machines.

I'd love to have full screen mode as you are suggesting it behaves on your machine, if that is in fact Mac's full screen mode.

    Thanks for your reply

That a better description, "when a new session launches it takes up the whole screen".

Its not full "full screeen" mode because it still has all toolbars etc visible, the session window fills the whole screen, even on a laptop...
I agree why can't it remember last state of program.
It also happens on another computer I use running C9

    Thanks again
    Mike

On my Macbook, the initial window size (not full-screen) is the window size I used at the moment of saving my workspace.
Did you already try to save your workspace(s)?
