Clone/Heal layer behavior

It seems that my installation of betas 1 and 2 have broken heal/clone layer behavior.
When I create a heal/clone layer, then option-click to select a source point, the destination moves all of the way to the upper left corner of the viewer -- in some cased beyond the bounds of the viewer.

Has anyone else observed this behavior?

  Phil, same behavior here without beta-testing, but i can't reproduce it knowingly. Anyway, happy to know that the problem is known 😊
