Capture one will not import my sRaw files from my Nikon D810

I just downloaded C1 for the first time and tried to import a recent project to a new catalog I created in C1.
when the import screen came up I chose the location of the files - they are all NEF and were captured with the Small Raw option on my D810 camera, but the import dialog did not preview the images. although it did not preview the images I could choose to import the files and the import dialog copy the files to the new catalog I created but did not preview them in C1.
what could be the problem?

I shoot with a Canon (5D3) and I have tested the ability of C1 to understand and import my sRaw and mRaw files. I have had no problem with them so I assume this may be a bug. If it will import sRaw and mRaw Canon files I assume it should do so with the Nikon images. You say that you can not preview them, but can you edit them?
In any case I would suggest that you file a support request.0 -
Are you sure that you are using Capture One in trial mode and not, say, in DB mode? (If you go to the Capture One menu and License... what does it say?)

hey there it is a licensed copy of C1 i activated it
it can import normal raw and jpegs but not the sRaw files

Would it be possible for you to post one of each someplace like dropbox so we could download them and see if the problem also exists in our copy of C1? That would tell us if it was your machine or if there was a general C1 problem with those files.0 -
I think you should contact PO support. The release notes are not clear here. It doesn't list RAW-M and RAW-S in D810 'File Support', but also doesn't exclude them in the D810 'Notes'. From experience with other Nikon bodies, I don't expect that CO supports RAW-S on the D810 when not listed in 'File Support'.

C1P9.0.1 release notes explicitly state RAW-S not supported for D4- and D8-- Nikons -1
