Setting capture date to PSD files?

Hi,

when I use Affinity Photo for external editing of my pictures, I loose the exif data of my original raw files. Most of all I miss the capture date since I use it for sorting my files.

A lot of metadata information can be set via the metadata editor, but the capture date not. So I tried to set the date via sidecar or the .cos file, but to no avail.

Is there a way to get this information into Capture One?

  Is this specific to PSD, or to Affinity Photo, that you know of?
