Once the field is selected, it would be nice -instead of having to type digits- to use up and down arrow keys to increase or decrease values. 3.7 did, CS does, LR does, why not C One 4.5 pro2
Actually it works. If I click on a slider or move to it by using the tab key I can adjust the slider with arrow keys (both up+right or down+left).
Sole thing is that one can't see which slider is activated - would be great if activated sliders would light up orange... like this:

edit: hups! maybe it's just a Windows feature? ... on my Macbook with the 4.5.2 DB version I cannot activate the sliders with the tab key and arrow keys do not work either

    Hi Thomas

thanks, true on the Mac too, but as I don't use sliders, I was waiting that in the digit field…

BTW in the Noise tab one cannot use the tab key to move from color denoise to luminance denoise (and reverse)…

BTW 2 another vote for the need of separate RGB curves editing…

Since Nicolas began this thread with so much tact, let me try to follow suit and re-iterate requests that have been made previously, that underscore the wish that CO 4.5.2 should resemble more closely v3.7.9:

"As a user since v 1, I should like to submit that to insure the quality of user experience resulting from an excellent workflow it would be helpful if the current iteration of CO Pro more closely resembled v.3.7.9 along the following lines:

    1. Preferences and Sessions: give us the centralized, configurable prefs from earlier versions that allowed for the setting of default color profiles and a host of other features. Also, Sessions should be configurable, both in terms of a manageable template (having a Move to folder for some just adds clutter and takes up space) and in the choice of template folders and naming convention. Users should be able to determine what they consider a worthwhile template - and how it should be added or removed. For me the template, naming convention, and method of adding and removing sessions of v 3.7+ is excellent and should never have disappeared. Please restore Sessions as they were in earlier versions, and make previous sessions compatible with the current version of C0 Pro. Finally, make the fonts of the Sessions dialogue box legible.

    2. Besides Sessions as indicated above, re-instate the quality of simple but effective and efficient tools of v3.7+. I have in mind the Focus tool, guides and grids, the rotation tool, etc.. While in theory such new tools as the skin tone color balance pipette is nice, it unfortunately doesn't work as it should and hence is a frill at the expense of earlier features that served a worthwhile, highly functional purpose.

    3. I realize that a lot of work has gone into v. 4.5.2 Pro, but it does not avail this user of a Raw conversion working environment up to the quality of v 3.7.9. Even the file browser is afflicted with glitches (such as always returning to the initial image of a folder) and the interface fonts and icons are often illegible. While conversion quality and processing speed is excellent in v 4.5.2 Pro, I use v 3.7.9 for creating sessions, and making my initial selects which I then process in V. 4.5, because the former version is much more user-friendly, efficient, and certainly less top-heavy. As an example, it let users set once and for all the default image color profile and that profile is indicated in the frame of the viewer window. (To be fair, v 4 does show key image metadata, a long-requested feature). Also, as a further example, it was possible to use the arrow keys to change numerical values of relevant fields in v 3.7.9, and this is still not available in v 4.5.

Previews: Give us two sizes of previews as options according to need. I'm finding that the redraw times for previews is too long on my system, and I'm not alone in finding this. This has a detrimental effect on user experience. One smaller size when going through files for finding selects, perhaps the larger present size for making edits.

Of course, continuity is still apparent in the current version as evidenced by the persistent absence of a worthwhile user's guide that would allow us to take advantage of the many new features of V4.5 Pro that are the result of the hard work of the development team.
