How much info should I see from my Lightroom catalog?

I created a C1 catalog and imported all my images. It looks like the color rating I assigned in Lightroom is showing up but that's about it. I didn't use the import Lightroom catalog option as I didn't see it until after I imported all my images. Would that of transferred more info like edits? If not what is the benefit of the import Lightroom catalog and if I should have used it what should I do now?
