Camera cannot be connected
Everytime I have a camera (5DMKIII and 1DSMKIII) tethered to c1 pro 6, if the camera goes to sleep, when the camera wakes up c1 tells me the camera can't be connected. I then have to quit the program and restart c1.

I get the same thing with 6.4.3. my work around is to set the camera to sleep after half an hour. Hopefuly this will get fixed soon. 0 -
6.4.4 didn't address this problem either. 0 -
Is that a camera specific issue? I'm using 6.4.2 with 5dmkii on 10.8.1 and haven't encountered this behavior. 0 -

I think it is more related to the Canon SDK, that is the software component in CO6 used for tethering. CO6 up to 6.4.2 use the old SDK and seems not to be affected with the issue, even when running 10.8.x. From 6.4.3 onwards, the new SDK is implemented to support the 5D mk3 and 1D X. These versions seems to be affected with disconnect issues.
I believe Canon is working on this. If you do not have the newer models from Canon, stick with CO Pro 6.4.2 until this is fixed.0
