Hi,

So my Capture One app doesnt start anymore.
The Icon jumps for a few seconds the first time, but then it stops.
And the secondtime i try to start it, it only jumps once and stops.

Pls HELP

  Don't know if it's related but I've seen something similar with the release prior to the latest on the latest iteration of Mac os X running on a mac mini with 8 gig ram.
  
  The Capture One icon bounces for a ridiculous period of time before opening or doesn't open at all.
  
  Unsure whether it's an issue with os X or Capture One.
  Was going to download latest version of Capture One 8 and see whether that made any difference.

  I would suggest you create a Support Case and get Technical Support.
  
  This is a user to user forum so problems of a technical nature may or may not get useful answers since it is unlikely that people posting will have the opportunity (or knowledge) to analyze the log files that will most likely tell the story about the system's attempt to start.
  
  You don't say which type of Capture One installation you are using and whether you use Catalogs or sessions.
  
  Either way since C1 attempts to open the last used catalog/session I would suggest starting it but bypassing that default. If it still does not open that would seem eliminate the potential problem of a damaged catalogue/session or a file problem within them.

  I support Grant's suggestion to contact support.
  
  In the mean time, what I do in similar circumstances is starting the program with the Alt-key pressed. It prevents loading any session or catalog. This irons out a corrupt session/catalog database, image or adjustment file.
