Hi Experts,
I am very new here... with I hope easy to answer one for you.
Why Phase One sort of.... whitening my image edges?

Once I overlay both on top of each other I get that effect

All I did is run batch with auto adjustments.

I would suggest you create a Support Case to gain access to technical expertise directly involved with the the way things are designed to work and how one might work differently to avoid such challenges.

My initial thought was that you have to much sharpening. As Sharpening increases the contrast between light and dark areas so to enhance the perceived sharpness the lighter gets lighter and the darker gets darker.
Try again but on the output Turn off the sharpening in the Process recipe.
