Unable to connect P65+ to Mac Pro

Hi everyone!

Recently I've found that my P65+ is not connecting to Capture One 6 on Mac Pro via firewire (I've tried two Intel based Mac Pro with OS X 10.6.😎. At the same time it's OK with several iMac and Macbook Pro. Any ideas what the problem it is?

  Do you run OS X 10.6.8 on the iMac and MacBook Pro as well?
  Do you run the same version of CO Pro 6 on all Macs?

  On the Macs who don't tether, is the P65+ reported in System Profiler application (under Firewire header) as on the other Macs (when connected, obviously)?

  Paul_E: On one of Mac Pro the problem is solved by itself. I did nothing, but now tethering is ok. Later I'll check another Mac Pro. However the cause of that problem is still unclear for me.

  Out of interest are you running the latest FW 5.2.2 on your P65+?
  
  I was having similar random connection problems under FW 5.1.8 with Mac Pro and even worse my MacBook Pro running Mac OS 10.6.7 and 10.6.8. Plugged my camera in a few weeks back and Capture One notified me of an update to my back. One of the bug fixes in the release notes was tethering reliability. Sine flashing the back with the latest 5.2.2 FW I've not seen the problem since and cinnects every time.
