    Not that this is a practical suggestion...
    If you quit the software after making your necessary albums and filling them does the data "stick" upon launching the program again?

    Hi Drew,

    I tried this a couple of times. Sometimes after restarting the program the album collection still exits and sometimes not. A collection of 6 stays intact (tried this 2 times), but a collection of 9 images was completely lost, another try resulted that of the 9 selected images 6 were lost and 3 images were still in the album collection. I'm completely puzzled.
    Switching between programs without exiting the program first results always in or a completely lost album content or 1 image still present in the collection. Tried this not a thousand times of course. But it must be easy for you to reproduce.

    Kind regards
    Ed

    Hi

    I've got the same (or similar) problem and filed a bug report (support case) quite a while ago (February 26th). It seems Phase One already was aware of the problem. I hope it gets fixed in the next update.

    That's what I wrote in the support case:
    -----
    It seems that at least for me in CO5.1 albums don't work anymore. Either the images I put into an album don't show up or I get an error message (see uploaded file). The old session files (created with CO5.0.x) work at first but it seems that they suffer the same problem after CO5.1 updates them.

    To reproduce the error message ():
    1. create a new session
    2. add a favorite folder (session favorite)
    3. create a new album
    4. put a picture from the session favorite folder into the album
    5. select the picture in the album
    6. switch to a different session
    7. switch back to the the previous session
    => error message

    To reproduce the "No pictures in gallery":
    1. create a new session
    2. add a favorite folder (session favorite)
    3. create a new album
    4. put a picture from the session favorite folder into the album
    5. select a picture while you're in the session favorite folder
    6. switch to a different session
    7. switch back the the previous session
    8. select the album
    => "No images in collection"

    I reinstalled CO5.1 and removed all Phase One and Capture One folders in the AppData folder. Unfortunately it didn't help.
    ------

    Regards
    Raphael

    Please open a new thread because of different topic, and open it in the CO4/5 Mac forum. Also, please release your Capslock key. Thank you.
