New v10 engine - what's actually new ?

According to the release notes
So this has apparently nothing to do with enhancements at the RAW engine level. However, there's an Upgrade button allowing to switch any variant to the v10 engine. Which on the contrary seems to indicate that the RAW engine has evolved. In which case, what's new ?

The Capture One Pro 10 Engine increases Performance for faster browsing, zooming, panning, adjusting and faster switching between images.
